Middle Section™ is an animated satirical dramedy about a close-knit community of Black and Brown adults over fifty, navigating reinvention, relationships, and the everyday absurdities of life's most unpredictable chapter. Growing older doesn't mean life gets quieter. It gets louder.
The Neighborhood
Oakridge centers on a hybrid café and bookstore, where half the block is working remotely, the other half is avoiding going home, and everybody ends up talking to everybody eventually. From there, the neighborhood radiates outward — a walking trail where nobody admits they're out of breath, a salon and barbershop where the real news travels, a farmers market that somehow becomes the social event of the week. Nobody's navigating it alone, even when they think they are.
